About Muara
( ( M U • Á ‧ R Á ) )
We combine heart-centred warm water, sound and movement journeys with a transpersonal approach to connect you to your
inner-self.
Founded by Anika Gunawan & Nathania Lubis; Muara is a meeting point for transition & transformation. It is the Indonesian word for estuary, a place where all rivers and the ocean converge— a transition zone between land and sea.

As facilitators we are passionate about curating safe, supportive, and heart-centered spaces through the living essence of water, movement & sound frequency.
The approach of Muara WaterSounds is deeply rooted and inspired by the rhythms and flow of Indonesian land and sea-scapes; as a way of honouring our indigenous heritage.
We grew up with diverse backgrounds, spanning both the East and West, and had experienced living, studying and travelling in Indonesia and globally. This has deepened & broadened our perspective and ability to craft these unique, multi-dimensional journeys that create a space for you to be accepted as you are.
